World Map in Wax Patchwork - São Tomé
Invited by the Alliance Française of São Tomé (Gulf of Guinea), I collaborated with local seamstresses and embroiderers. They assemble pieces of wax fabric into precious re-embroidered patchwork.
This map uses Fuller's projection, which represents the Earth on an unfolded polyhedron, offering an alternative vision of the world.
